Privacy

PursuitWire collects as little personal information as practical. This website has no analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, or customer accounts. Its sample request form asks for four business details.

1. Who is responsible

PursuitWire is a service operated by 2824181 ALBERTA INC. The company is responsible for personal information under its control.

2. Information we collect

Website browsing

The site does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tools, or customer accounts. Its sample request form collects a work email, company, Calgary service lane, and service area. Form submissions are processed through Google Forms and Google Workspace so PursuitWire can prepare and answer the request. The site is hosted through OpenAI's ChatGPT Sites service. OpenAI and its infrastructure providers may process basic technical request data, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, and timestamp, to deliver, secure, debug, and operate the site.

Email and business communications

If you email PursuitWire, we receive your email address, name if you provide it, message content, and related correspondence. If you request a sample by form or email, we may also receive your company name, service lane, service area, and project preferences.

Customer administration

If you purchase a pilot, we may collect the customer legal name, billing email, selected service lane, service area, exclusions, project preferences, existing public procurement registrations, preferred delivery day, and one operating contact. We also keep transaction, acceptance, delivery, correction, and refund records needed to administer the service and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Do not send PursuitWire credentials, personal contact lists, private bid documents, regulated personal information, or sensitive payment information. Payment processing is handled through the payment provider identified on the invoice. PursuitWire does not need your online banking credentials or full payment-card number.

3. Why we use information

We use personal information only for reasonable purposes connected to the relationship, including:

• answering a question or sample request;
• screening projects against the service information you provide;
• preparing, delivering, correcting, and supporting the service;
• issuing and reconciling invoices, payments, or refunds;
• recording acceptance, delivery, and communication preferences;
• meeting accounting, tax, legal, security, or dispute requirements; and
• preventing further marketing messages after an unsubscribe request.

4. Consent and communication choices

Where consent is required, PursuitWire requests or relies on consent permitted by applicable law. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual limits, by emailing hello@pursuitwire.ca.

Every PursuitWire commercial email provides a no-cost unsubscribe method. An unsubscribe request is applied as soon as practical and no later than the period required by law. PursuitWire keeps the minimum suppression record needed to avoid sending further marketing messages.

5. Sharing

PursuitWire does not sell personal information. We may provide limited information to service providers that help operate email, hosting, invoicing, accounting, document storage, or security. They may use the information only to provide those services or meet their legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Processing outside Canada

Some service providers store or process information outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. ChatGPT Sites does not currently provide data-residency coverage for deployed sites, site artifacts, or related logs, so hosting information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where OpenAI and its infrastructure providers operate. Sample form submissions and email are handled through Google Forms and Google Workspace. Invoicing and related records may be handled through Venn and connected accounting services. 7. Retention

PursuitWire keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, a required business record, a legal obligation, security, or a dispute. Sample inquiries that do not become customers are reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Customer, transaction, tax, and accounting records may be retained for at least six years after the applicable reporting year or longer when legally required. Unsubscribe suppression records are retained as needed to honour the request.

8. Safeguards

PursuitWire uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information. These include limiting access, using authenticated service accounts, avoiding unnecessary sensitive data, and using service providers with security controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

9. Your access and correction rights

You may ask whether PursuitWire holds personal information about you and request access or correction, subject to applicable exceptions. Email hello@pursuitwire.ca with enough detail to identify the record. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10. Children

PursuitWire is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. External links

Sample packets and project cards may link to third-party public sources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Changes

We may update this policy when practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be stated clearly on this page.
